MCT Absorbent Pouch Filing System

Maxwell Chase Technologies High Speed Absorbent Pouch Filling System has been specifically designed to automate the process of weighing, filling and sealing fresh cut produce into MCT absorbent pouches.

• The system comprises of two independent Incline In-feed Conveyors, two Weighing Stations and two Pouch Filling and Sealing stations
• The system is constructed of sani-safe stainless steel
• The system can be adjusted to fill 2.5, 5 and 7 lb pouches

Quality Product

• The system is easy to load and can receive the fresh cut produce direct from the wash flume/shaker table
• This avoids the need to spin dry the fresh cut produce improving yields and the quality of the produce
• The system uses a crimp seal which eliminates leaking pouches

Cost Savings

• Automated process that significantly reduces the labor handling costs of weighing, filling and sealing absorbent pouches
• The system can be run using only 2 personnel which is a cost of less than ½ cent per lb for labor

Processing Capacity

• The MCT Absorbent Pouch Filling System weighs, fills and seals 18 pouches per minute –using a 5 lb pouch this equates to over 5,000 lbs per hour

• The MCT Absorbent Pouch Filling System integrates with the Maxwell Chase Technologies “Fresh-R-Pax” super absorbent pouches, resulting in a dramatic improvement in shelf life: 12-18 days shelf life for Fresh Cut Fruits and Vegetables
